Made with an Instax Wide 300 camera, using Monochrome and Colour film, these images chart coastline in the south of England. From Cornwall to Charmouth and over to Portland, these images are high-contrast, grainy but still soft, the camera's deliberately obtuse way of taking photos meaning the skill of taking the pictures is in capturing a scene perfectly framed and lit so it comes out of the camera complete. Patterns in landscape and stone become apparent and shapes repeat and disperse.
No cropping or filters have been used. Made in Winter and Spring 2025
