Taken in a deliberately diaristic style with an Instant camera, these images chart a time when houses needed renovating, bed-sharing was standard and breastfeeding was ongoing without end in sight. Illness, napping and bed guards dominated life during this claustrophobic time, leading to a very personal and gritty body of work. Images were taken during winter of 2021 and spring of 2022.
