Since 2021, I have been documenting our family summers in Poland with my husband's relatives. As each year passes, my children grow and my cameras and style evolve. Visits I made in my 20s have become memories and are now re-visited and my photographic views become less insular (a predictable product of having young children) and now much more concerned with the Political climate. I try and fail each year to learn Polish but instead I strive to capture the essence of a place I love to compensate for the words I don't have.
